Welcome back to Seller Spotlight! I feature artists whose work brings soul, story, and a little bit of wonder into our homes. I do this to showcase small businesses, spark design ideas, and help you discover pieces that feel personal and alive.
This week, I’m so excited to share Nicola Paradis Berkowski, the creative force behind Paradis Maison.
If you’ve ever wanted your home to feel like a bold, whimsical, joyful sanctuary, you’re going to love this one. Paradis Maison blends maximalist decor, fine design, and Feng Shui wisdom in a way that feels both elevated and playful.
A DESIGNER WITH GLOBAL ROOTS
Nicola’s journey began in architecture and interior design. She earned her Master’s in Interior & Spatial Design from London’s Chelsea College of Arts, then worked at Zaha Hadid Architects in London and UNStudio in Amsterdam. Living and working across Sydney, Paris, London, and Amsterdam has given her a global lens that shows up in every pattern, palette, and layer.

After years in architecture, Nicola poured her creativity into Paradis Maison—a home decor and lifestyle brand bursting with color, pattern, and high-vibe energy. From throw pillows and blankets to ceramics, fragrances, and mystical accents, every piece is designed to shift how a room feels, not just how it looks.

Truly. It’s playful, immersive, and so fun to explore. She showcases all of her products and images in ornate picture frames, making it feel like you're on a digital art gallery tour, I absolutely love it.
FENG SHUI MEETS MAXIMALISM
Nicola is also a certified Feng Shui practitioner (trained under Marie Diamond). She weaves these principles into her collections and consultations, helping people arrange their homes for balance, harmony, and energy flow. In a recent Acid For Squares podcast chat, she dives into how the spaces we live in influence creativity, relationships, and overall energy.

WHY I LOVE PARADIS MAISON
Paradis Maison is more than decor. It’s art, philosophy, and joy in everyday objects. Whether you’re drawn to statement pillows, mystical accents, or Feng Shui-inspired styling, Nicola’s work proves that interiors can be as playful, personal, and vibrant as the people living in them.
GIVING BACK
When you fall in love with one of Nicola’s pillows, you’re also doing something good. A portion of every pillow sale is donated to Pratham, an organization working to end the cycle of poverty in India through education. The Australian chapter focuses on the Second Chance program for girls who’ve had to leave school, and they note that 93% of funds go directly to the cause. Beauty with purpose is my favorite kind of design.
